Takes a challenging route up Kinder climbing to 1450 ft (440m) to meet the Pennine Way. Going up Williams Clough through the grass, heather, peat and criss-crossing stream means heavy rain can make the steep climb more physically demanding and is the reason for the provisional 'A' rating. We then climb the gritstone slopes to reach the summit plateau. There are some great panoramic views (weather permitting) before we descend into the Upper Sett Valley. Passing along the way: River Kinder, Mermaids Pool, KInder Downfall, Red Brook and THree Knoll Rocks.
