Starting at the Kettledrum Inn, the start is a short climb on a quiet lane, followed by fields, woods and tracks. There are a couple of ascents that are not too difficult and will be taken at a leisurley pace. For those with a fear of water, there is one stream crossing with stepping stones that are large and sturdy so with assistance there should be no problem. Good views if the weather remains fine.
