All paths are good ones being a mixture of wide track,s field paths, quiet country lanes and canal towpaths. The main climb is at the start of the walk. Leaving the coach we climb steadily (very short sections are steep) with a height gain of 426 feet over 0.5 miles up to the Pennine Bridal Way. This then affords us glorious views. From here on the walk is gently undulating. We then strike off across the Eastern edge of Skipton Moor and then carry on along itsSouth side again with marvellous views. Towards the end of the walk we drop down to the canal where we walk back into Skipton.
We travel by coach to Skipton.
'C+' walk 8 miles.
