Good 'B' walk with good views. One steady climb over fields and moorland. One steep climb using steps and three short steepish climbs. Variety of lane walking, fleld and moorland tracks, woodland tracks, riverside paths etc. Some paths have steep drops on one side. We use part of the Mytholmroyd Heritage Trail, visiting a sulphur spring and spa and various remains of old mills and mill streams.Chance to see deer skylark etc and perhaps hear a cuckoo. Good views on clear day down valley over Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd. Will be muddy after heavy rain. If bad weather there is a short cut reducing walk to 8.25 miles. Maximum walking time, including stops 5.5-6 hours.
